Dance-wear, gym-wear or occasional outdoor wear is acceptable for classes. No jewellery worn as it is hazardous and can cause incidents. Dancers must always have their hair tied back and away from their face. Any lost property left in the studio will sit for a week for dancer to claim, if not it will then be discarded. We occasionally have workshops available, for these, dance school uniform must be worn.

Attendance

Parents of our tiny dancers must remain on the premises at all times whilst their child is dancing. Dancers are more than welcome to choose as many or as little classes as they please. When we have upcoming events, shows, competitions we expect attendance to be roughly 80% or higher with the exception of injuries, long term illnesses and/or holidays.

Withdrawal

If a dancer wishes to discontinue their classes at the school, we must be given a 4 week notice period as following month fees will still be charged.

Behaviour

We expect all dancers to respect all teaching staff and guest teachers. To treat each other with kindness and positivity. Always ask for help it needed. Always try your best and have fun.

Annual shows, Class Awards and Competitions

Shows and competitions are not compulsory, however, are encouraged. Class awards are given out once a year as an incentive, to motivate all dancers and reward their continuous hard work. These awards are based on attendance, work ethic, positive attitudes and behaviour towards teachers and fellow dancers.
